Nursing Health Caregivers Training 

Our sole objective is to train students from disadvantage communities the basic skill of Health Caregiving, for them to be able to take care of the elderly, disabled and HIV & Aids infected patients in their  communities and as well be able to find employment opportunity in Old Age homes and Hospitals.

The Care Giver Course

This Care Giver course is a one month course of theoretical and practical training and students are required to do job attachment of one month at a Old Age Home, Home Nursing or Hospital.

 

Learning Outcome 

On completion of this training course students will be sufficient in:

1. Handling a patient in bed:

  • Positioning 
  • Bathing 
  • Lifting & Turning 
  • Care of Pressure areas 
  • Use of Bedpan & Urinal 

2. Taking & Charting TPR

3. Administration of Prescribed Medication
